Doing what we can is empowering and makes a difference when summed collectively. There's a lot we can do without spending more time and money, and many of these things save money and time, deepen our personal relationships, enrich our lives and enhance our while helping our economy, people and planet. "Sustainability" is just common sense: not wasting, not taking more than we need, considering our impact past ourselves and our lifetimes, building community and shared solutions, appreciating what we have, the Golden Rule...stuff I learned growing up on a small organic farm with resource-conscious parents and hanging with my Grandma. Sometimes less IS more.
